Eva's Confession is the twenty-third episode of the anime.

Eva Heinemann is arrested for public drunkenness and is also homeless after not paying her rent.
Summary[]
Eva wakes up in a cell at the police station. She then realizes that her bag is missing and goes to her hotel room to search for it. At the hotel, Eva notices that someone broke into her room. Without any money left, Eva wanders though the city until Roberto appears in front of her with her purse.
Roberto invites Eva for lunch and show him one of his most treasured possessions, a photo album. Roberto sees the album, noticing a picture of Eva and Tenma and also that there are some pictures missing. Eva and Roberto go drinking. They return to the hotel room, where Roberto asks Eva for the missing pictures, the ones with Johan and Dr. Heinemann. Eva tells Roberto that he saw Johan in Düsseldorf one year back.
Eva tells Roberto how she followed Tenma the night when Adolf Junkers was killed and how she saw Johan immediately after he shot Adolf Junkers, witnessing that Johan indeed exists.
The next morning, Roberto wakes up and decides that, now that Eva knows about Johan, he has to kill her.
