Johan's Footprints is the sixty-fifth episode of the anime.

Synopsis[]

Johan surprises Čapek in a tense encounter. When Čapek's men go to retrieve Nina from her hotel room, they find her waiting for them with a gun.

Summary[]

Čapek's men arrive to the hotel where Nina is staying. They enter the room and find that Nina is already expecting them with a gun. The men say that they were asked to bring her to Čapek. After realizing this, Nina tells them that she is coming with them to see Čapek.

After Milan Koláš's death, police comes to his apartment and starts searching his place to find out that he was targeting Peter Čapek. Tenma, who already warned Koláš's friends that the police would come, leaves to Čapek's hotel.

Tenma arrives to the hotel and sees Christof Sievernich leaving in a white Mercedes-Benz. He decides to tail him and follow him to an apartment. There, Christof, looking for Johan, finds out that someone else is actually waiting for him: Eva, who is holding a gun.

Arriving to Peter Čapek's house, Nina remembers him from her flashbacks and points her gun at him, determined to shoot, but pauses. Čapek then explains that, according to the plan -whose plan?, he questions- Nina is going to kill him. Nina puts down the gun realizing that Johan had already been there and asks Čapek where did Johan go.

Eva asks Sievernich about Johan's whereabouts, who claims that he does not know. Eva shoots him in the ear. Sievernich tells Eva that he and Johan are long time friends since they met at Kinderheim 511 ten years back and that they were the only two survivors of the Kinderheim 511 disaster. Sievernich fights Eva and manages to grab her gun and then points it at her. In that moment, Tenma arrives, demanding Sievernich to drop the gun. A gunshot is heard.

Čapek and Nina drive to meet Johan.
